( Sorry uploaded them all the wrong way round. but anyway.) This was the weather as we walked home. You can just make out the beach from where we had just come from. As you will see the sun had been shining and we had enjoyed a very pleasant walk along the beach.
A view of Cullen harbour.
The good thing about his coat is the water and snow just sit on it. A good shake and most of its gone!
I met my brother and his family just outside my house when we arrived home. The kids n dogs fair enjoyed the snow, however the adults were somewhat wary of the ice under the snow!!!!
Logie and Gigha always amongst water!!
Arran Logie and Gigha.
A view of Cullen from the links beach at around 3pm.
The dogs have fair caught up with their walks. Its been fine just spending time with them as work had been quite hectic! Here they are up the Bin hill at Cullen.
Logie just loves the snow to roll in.
Can you spot him?
One of their favourite walks.Just love to see their happy faces.
We had a very quiet Christmas, with a pleasant walk up through Tarryblake woods in the afternoon. It was nice to see the dogs play in the snow however Arran ate that much snow that he widdled himself the rest of the evening and over night! (And thats with taking him out every 15mins. )His stomach was round! All i can say is thank god for lino floors!!!
I came home lastnite to find the garden covered in snow. It doesn't happen that often here on the coast that we get this much snow, but the dogs are probably the only ones who just love it when it does come.
My mum keeps my old dog Oban, as being nearly 13yrs old he's not quite so fit for my stairs. But he manages to join us for short walks round the fields. Not easy getting a picture of them all looking at the same time.
Logie wins another Best Import Register at Scottish Utility Breeds open show. Little Gigha won a 3rd behind Logies sister Tinky. Seems eurasiers are getting quite popular as there was more of them than Akitas entered! It was lovely day of sunshine but i think it must have been the coldest place in Scotland that day. Bbrrrr!!
On Saturday we went off to Clatt for our homebakes and teas whilst they held their annual Companion Dog Show. A good turn out as usual though the weather wasn't that good with a few heavy showers whilst judging took place. Logie won Junior Dog then went on to win Res Best in Show. Here he is with the Best In Show winner who came all the way from Elgin. "These dog shows are getting boring now!"
We took a runny to Alford for the day. I was meant to be doing my books but the weather was too nice to be sat indoors. But it was nice to let Chucky dog see her sisters.
We popped in past to visit Gighas litter sisters. As i cant see their collars i cant tell you which one is which. They are colour coded!! However Gigha is sitting on the bunker.
Gighas two sisters
Logie, Corrie(Logies Mum), Tinkerbell (Logies sister) Gigha and Arran. The dogs were being driven mad by flies that were buzzing round their heads and eyes, hence no-one looked at the camera.
The dogs enjoyed a walk at Duffus House after attending a Companion show at Westfield house nr Elgin.
Pansy and Jana won the Odd couple whilst Jasper and Sadie came 2nd. However Jasper won the Toy class beating Pansy.Sadie won a 3rd after Logie won Av Junior!
