Logie wins Best Import Register!
Ria my little helper handled Gigha for me. She came 2nd.

Findlater Castle

Logie Head in where oor Logie got his name from. You can just about make out the "cairn" just back from the cliff in the distance. The beach is called Sunnyside and popular camping spot.

The castle overlooks Sunnyside beach. Its too dangerous to walk through now,but woulda been grand in its day!

Thursday 7 January 2010

All in a days walk!

Logie shows off his poodle pom poms!!
A view from my house. Not often you see snow lying on the beach.

As we walked along to the 2nd hole of the course yu could see the snow coming in off the sea. Quite dramatic!

Dogs in Snow!

The first week in January and the country has ground to a halt with snow, including us here on the Moray coast. Its not normal to have snow for this length of time here on the coast(now reaching 3weeks). But even if we are fed up its nice to see the dogs having fun. Practicing for Bon Accord! Thats if we get there!
This is a golf course and normally bonny green!

We had the place to ourselves today. Wide open space they had a ball!!

OOh dark clouds!

Happy New Year!!

Little Gigha.
Gigha and Logie relaxing indoors.

As you can see we have had plenty snow since well before Christmas and it just ain going away!!
Dogs love it though!
